Cement Retained Implants

Implant restoration is separate from
abutment and is cemented chairside after abutment is screwed in place. (No screw access hole)

Screw Retained Implants

  • Implant restoration is cemented to ti-base abutment in lab. (with access hole)

  • This approach simplifies securing the implant restoration to the implant in the mouth, by simply inserting and tightening the screw (no cementation required chairside).
